Lost one car to a crash. (5H I think) As i left I seen a lot of motor work being done on the 3F of Kyle Hirst. Fast cars (just by the eye) were Blake Miller in the 96 Tyler Brown car, Darland, Meserall, and Bud Kaeding

Blake looked good, Levi, Cole too. Kaeding looked fast and very comfortable. 5H looked like it might return but someone said the frame broke so maybe not.

There were some interesting approaches to which line to run. Kaeding looked like he was working on driving under the hole in one and not going too far up the track in 1/2 . 3/4 he was picking up the cushion midway/late (driving across to the light pole and then down out of 4) and was looking good- smooth. He's going to be there Saturday night.

Most of the guys were running top and bottom, checking things out. One of the Kahne cars was on the fence in 1 then driving down early in 2 - and I do mean "on the fence". I've not seen that approach at Perris this year but we have not been there for all the races.

It appeared some of the guys were having trouble with the entrance to 3 moreso than anything else. That little rut over there had a lot of guys bobbling when trying to arch in top to bottom. Couple of guys were pitched over very early but finding the exit really tight and were pulling the nose up with that line.

It was fun to see some different approaches to the track. There's going to be good racing all over the track tonight.
