This is great news! See Scott D.'s press release on another thread.
"The pits will be open to all fans each day until approximately 12:30 PM. Fans will be able to see the cars up close, watch the crews work on the cars, buy team shirts and meet many of the teams and drivers."

Been that way from Day1.One of the best keep secrets of the Ovals.Buy a 'T'from the source in the pits.Your money will best support the teams that way and heck it's got to be an ego boost to your favorite driver to know he's got so many fans rooting for him.If your really interested,a lot of teams will roll their cars up on the concrete pad ,to check the set-up...they might even answer questions for a curious fan...Best way to meet and greet your favorite...bring your camera!
