I remember reading on Rick Ferkels retirement that he had over 7 or 800 feature wins to his name, can anyone varify that?

I think it would be interesting to see if there is in fact anyone that could trump the King. I have only heard of one person ever being talked about being in the 1000 win club and that was The One Armed Bandit Chuck Amati. A lot of the races "back in the day" however are not documented. There's got to be other dominators out there that would fit the same mold as Chuck in regards to wins. Looking at the site posted, it shows Chuck only having 119 wins, but one thing I notice is that it does not include many tracks in the Tennessee or Kentucky areas.

Fred Rahmer has quite a few as well over his career. Who else would we be missing from this type of grand list?

What other series ran more races than the WoO where a driver could do this?

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone, including Rick, will ever be able to document his number of wins. Never was one to keep stats on himself. But I do know that Rick's vote for the best all-time goes to Opperman.

Fred's win at Lincoln a couple weeks ago was number 397 in a Sprint Car moving him only 3 away from 400 wins aboard a Sprint.
