NCRA Southern Sportmod Rules and Payout Announced FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - October 22, 2008 - Park City, Kansas - On the heels of their announcement of the new Oklahoma Sportmod series, officials with the O'Reilly/NCRA presented by ICM/Ethanol series have announced the rules, payout and purse for their inaugural 2009 race season for the division. Each feature finale will pay $500 to win, $100 to start with a $25 entry fee at each event. All "B" feature starters who do not qualify for the feature finale will earn $50. There will be a one time $50 membership fee and you must become a NCRA member and have competed in at least 75% of events to be eligible for the minimum $5000 point fund. Rules will be that of the current Southern Sportmod rules along with the tire rule being the following: 8" Hoosier 500 (unstamped or unstamped). Weight will be $2350 while wheels will be 8" steel, maximum 8.75 with right rear bead lock. Engine will be same as that with IMCA.
