Scott D. mentioned during hot laps that the team was down something like four engines. And that they were having them freshened for the Oval Nationals - so Kruseman elected to sit this one out.

Actually, Mike Nigh (Cory's crew chief) found out on Friday that he had hit the Mexican Lottery. Steve Ostling sold him one of his tickets. Seems Ostling still party's there a lot. He tells the locals about his Mexican Sprint Car Championship ALL THE TIME just to get free drinks.
Upon finding out he had the winning numbers, he threw down his wrench and said "I ain't scraping no mud no more." So instead of going to the track last night, he began to head to Tijuana to collect his pesos. When he got there, he then found out that the number of pesos won only translated to $50 in USA currency. It didn't even pay for his gas to go there! You can bet he will be scraping Cory's mud at the next race
