With the importance of the dash and how it sets up the first 5 rows in World of Outlaws racing, shouldnt this be the thing to be revised. On a bad night some great WoO drivers dont make the inversion. By doing this, they cant start any closer than the first 5 rows. Seems like a penalty. What if it went back to the original trophy dash. But instead with a twist, why not run the dash at the end of heats, with the four fastest qualifiers to transfer from their heats and they line up a four car dash. And from that finish would then determine the starting line up. Again, just a thought

why not drop the time trials, do draw for heat race, which pays points and passing points, then line them up again for qualifying races, with more points, then a dash for top 6 in points, dash inverted and pay points again,, last chance race for last 4 positions in the main event, this way you would see every driver race 3 times, see more races per night and the lower car counts not such a let down, program would run just about if not quicker

OR:
Why not make time trials worth while by increasing the points for the top half of the inversion qualifiers and giving them 5 times the qualifying points compared to all the others below that. Then if you don't make the dash, at least you have been rewarded with the points you need to challenge for the championship. That would motivate everyone to try to grab quicktime to get the points and not dog it to try and sit on the pole for the heats, almost guaranteeing them a spot in the dash.
