I will be showing my #39 Say NO to Drugs 410 Sprint Car this Saturday @ Covina's 13th Annual NHRA Thunderfest/ Bluesapalooza from 1-8 PM. Come on by on your way out to Perris to say "Hi" and also check out all the Hot Rods that are lining the four blocks of Oldtown Covina. Tens of thousands of People come to this event each year to enjoy all the Cars . You might even recognize a few faces displaying their Hot Rod down the street. There's Music, of course, & a park full of booths & games for the kids. It's a cool event that I have been attending since 2001 with my car, showing everyone videos of what Sprint Car racing is about, and letting kids, young & old, climb into the car. I can't afford to race right now, but I can still promote this Outrageous sport. I'll be set up on the Northern end of the event, near the Dragsters, with my blue EZ-Up. The Car's yellow- you can't miss it. 
Location is on Citrus Ave, between the 210 & the 10 freeway, just South of San Bernardino Rd.

I think it is a great thing that Cal Smith does for sprint car racing. Hats off to Mr. Smith!

For any of the families that drop by Covina's Thunderfest/bluesapalooza, I've got something special for the youngsters from this site, who are obviously Sprint Car fans. So if you come to Covina to say HI, just mention this post. Be sure to bring your camera. There are always lots of "cool" Hot Rods at this Festival, and Shaved Ice. Have fun @ Legends of Ascot @ the PAS. It's Legen...........(wait for it)........dary.

BTW, My newly renovated Montclair House, 3bed/2bth, 240V in detached Garage, is available for Lease. Just 40 minutes from Perris, with trailer parking. "Racer needs his engine rebuilt". Talk to me if interested.
