S.M
1. Wes Gutierrez
2. Richard Vanderweered
3. Rusty Carlile
22 cars
Don Gansen, T.J Smith, and Jason May all fliped
T.J Smith's was one of the worst flips this year (car was a total loss)
by the time the race was over it was a whopping 35 Deg outside
Victorville does not have a sprintcar race till the 18th

Probably something to do with the economy. If any track is getting more than 22-25 cars they must be doing something right, we went through this back in the CRA days when the economy was down too. IT will get better soon.

I guess Ventura is doing something right, they seem to get a lot of cars. And Indiana Speed week had lots of cars too. And when I went to a show near St Louis, Crap they had 170 cars, too many (Kenny Schrader and Billy Moyer showed up). I guess that was when Bush had the econmy going good

22 cars? I thought Pete said that they were expecting the likes of "Showtime" and Josh Ford, among others, for that race last night. Does anyone have a box-score for the event?

It was a great show- "Showtime" was "no-Show time" at his home town track, but he hadn't had good runs of late there and they have a big commitment with the end of season schedule... maybe he was intimidated? (yeah, right).
Ford is a racer that is likely to show up but tossed a motor the last time he went to SMS.
Was a hot race on a cold night!

Hey Pete, do you know if Peter Murphy plans on running with the WoO next weekend, or do you think he will be in Perris tuning up for the Oval Nationals? Just curious, since Tarlton is the car owner. LOL, I did not make the last Perris race, and I saw that he was there. Just my luck. Oh well, hopefully next weekend.

Peter Murphy is done for the season as result of the jarring his back took in August at Kings Speedway. The Doc said he had to take time off to heal. It is a bummer.

Maybe they could put Robert Balough in the car.

No, we have to rebuild our 410 motor, and we're putting a 360 in for the Western. Tge good news is we're adding a few ponys and we're going to run Perris all year next year! Matt is going to run for rookie of the year. Looks like we might have some competition too! John Aden, and a few others. Has Brandon ev er run too many races with USAC to run for rookie honers?

Indiana Sprint Week is a special series of seven races, as you must know. You can hardly compare this series of 410 racing to a weekly show at the PAS, Santa Maria or Ventura. I mean please. Seven races on four or five different tracks that is heavily promoted with good purses and lots of prestige.

Good for you guys Ziggy! Look forward to seeing young Matt at the PAS next year and maybe taking home the ROY award.

You can run usac at 16 but for some tracks that are close to a mile in length you have to be 18
