sorry for lack of a few names and stuff. just tryin to put this on here so everyone can get an idea - these results are not official. coulda had em on here bout 30 minutes ago - but opted for a taco break lol.

man those were pretty good races tonight. i mean we got our 20's worth much more than any of the ascs shows. and man there were a lot of cars there - had to pit some of em on the 5/8ths track. and for all the cars there we coulda had even more - shayla waddell, clevenger, guinn, passmore, danny smith, goodman - i mean - quite a few. and i am not trying to find something gripe about - it was an awesome turnout especially the mods - the sprints too. pro stocks - so so. factories - not bad at all. especially considering we were minus over half our FS regulars. no clemmons, justin allen, no jeremy allen - hell most the factories i had no clue who they were - and thats a good thing lol. glad to see some new ones come out. the mods were great. i liked seeing travis penrod at SFS again. and martin marlow too that was cool.

i thought the track was awesome too. in the heats it was like some nights features - a lot of moisture - but multiple grooves. by the features it had dried out and laid a lot of rubber - but there was still mutiple grooves in all the features too. altogether i'd say a great 1st night to the winter nationals. many of us were worried it wouldnt be worth the money - i thought tonight went a good distance in justifying the ticket price. i'll eat the crow gladly - it was a good show. i worry bout tomorrow tho - as a lawton scenario looks kind of likely. lots of wind - 2nd night of racin - conventional wisdom says that sucker will go dry very early. i dont care really - as long as the racing is good. tonight............. was good.

now will look or wait for LCS (ardmore) results

the 7 - i wasnt sure if it was steele or not - i did see the car at lawton last week tho. it had a taped 1 nehind the 7 - so it was technically 71. just not sure tho ya know. it was a tough night for 1 person to score results. not many yellow in the final laps of the mod and sprint mains. well after the show was over on my way out i noticed they had results/lineups posted outside the office - but the taco mayo was calling for me big time lol.

as for lawton drivers gettin tore up. i dont think so - not off the top of my head i cant think of any. not a lot of people got torn up tonight - there were very few. i know lonnie nunley was 1st in his heat - then 2nd with a lap or 2 left - something broke on the car and he got like 6th or something like that. there wasnt many wrecks in the sprints - there was a small rollover in a champ sprint heat race - a guy just lost control in turn 3 and at the end of the spin momentum just barely picked him up enough to put him on his lid.

there were a few wrecks where guys were going for the lead and either messed up or got takin out. there was a #76 factory stock who was bout to pass larry allen late in the race - and a blue #22 i have seena before at sfs a few times - wiped out that 76. stanley reed was runnin 2nd in the mods and offering scattered pressure on anderson - and reed broke at the very end.

well - in the end no not a lot of torn up stuff tonight. a couple mod heat races were a mess. but most the exits were mechanical. a few others were light but critical damage and were towed away. there just wasnt any big wreck that sticks out. o wait - the yellow 14 factory stock from lawton did get taken out in the FS A Main. a few cars got together comin out of 4 and resulted in a fender bender on the front straight. wasnt overtly bad wreck or nothin - just enough to take a couple of em out of the race.

that really is about all i can think about man. sorry cant remember more. not a lot that sticks out really
