Couldn't help but notice that the 22 team's hauler and one 410 engine were for sale on the hoseheads classifieds? Closing up shop?

i couldnt find it in the classifieds..could it be his old trailer?

His Delta deal has a trailer, he still had his own all this year. Probably getting rid of it cause he doesn't need it. It sat in the North Campground at K'ville all year.

Couldn't help but notice your ridiculous post. Ever heard of selling old to buy more new? Why don't you call up the number on the add and ask him if they're closing up shop instead of asking a message board.

Lets see, there is no phone number on the add. The add is under the "featured adds" on the first page. The truck and trailer are both for sale. The only thing ridiculous about it is thinking that they needed to or would upgrade. And it is the outfit he was using all year. Savage gave an answer in a matter of 32 minutes. So who actually is the dumb one gentlemen?

Wow, if I thought every team I saw their equipment for sale was closing shop we wouldn't have very many teams left. I saw Stevie Smith's trailer for sale as well. Closing up shop? Just wait a month or two and you will see a lot of teams "closing up shop" Haha

Ya see, you just can't ask an honest question these days. You just HAVE to be politically correct in everything that you post and have a little smarts about yourself. Back when this deal first started fifteen or so years ago (I was an original poster here) you could ask honest questions and not be belittled. But times have changed and you just - can't - do - that anymore. Understand?

Which truck and trailer is for sale...all i can find is one that is like his but without the graphics? Yes his delta deal provided him with the money to buy a new tractor trailor set up but i don't see his old truck and trailer for sale.

The one that you are seeing, without the graphics, on the featured ad section of the classifieds, is the outfit after it was purchased, before the graphics were applied. I noticed on the contact section of the ad that the only thing listed was NE for Nebraska, and I went to there website and low and behold, the exact pic. is under his photo gallery.

And as far as your inquiry into the matter, if you searched just a little more, you would have found that Stevie Smith is selling his truck, trailer, (3) chassis, and (3) engines.

As far as the cars and motors for sale from Stevie Smith, I was unable to find them while searching. I then pulled up the link for the truck and trailer and went to "all ads by this seller" and was able to find the cars and motors you stated he was selling. Then I noticed something underneath those ads stating the ad has expired. Those adds are from last winter when they were cleaning out the shop for NEW equipment. So... no Stevie does not have 3 cars and 3 motors currently for sale on the hoseheads classifieds section. Again, like I said, wait a couple months and many teams will be "closing shop" haha

In doing a little research it looks to be wishful thinking on redbull29's part. In the past he (or she) has stated it was a dumb move to leave the 17G and the team that got him a championship. Also seems to have a lot of knowledge with the Gifford 17G team that Billy left to start his own team and defends them quite often. Nothing against that team, just stating some interesting facts I found. Shame on you to try and start a rumor about Billy on this holy message board. One engine and a hauler for sale are not even close to closing up shop. Ok, I've had my fun for the day. Haha

I was going to eat crow on the Stevie Smith deal, but there are no dates on those adds to say that they were from last year except for one of the chassis being a 2007. Maybe they are, maybe they arent. I had a nice little paragraph here, but decided to edit it, because this just isnt worth it. I am not one to argue over a computer. And I am not going to let a little pot stirrer like you get under my skin on one either.

Got word today that Billy hasn't gotten his buck yet. He smells too bad and the big one headed the other direction...stay tuned...
