Props and gratitude!!!
"The Outlaws have people out here that don’t know
anything about racing. I don’t understand how they
come up with some of the calls they do. It makes me
think that they just might be that stupid. It’s
scary." -Steve Kinser

Oh heck no, they turned me loose with about 75 electric generators.
Guns hurt people, I am a lover, not a fighter, I must be a closet Democrat I guess.

Thanks to our vets and troops currently in the field.
Regardless of party any of our affiliation, these boys and girls don't have a choice where they're sent, and they need our support. This is one subject where politics shouldn't be introduced, and it pisses me off to no end when they are.
US Navy 1969-1973, USS Franklin D Roosevelt CVA42 port catapult crew, hookup, holdback, jet blast deflectors and port deckedge operator. 15 feet from an F4 Phantom hooked to the cat in afterburner, the only thing that ever gave me a bigger rush than 24 Sprint Cars taking the green flag.
We were in the Atlantic fleet and went on Med cruises. I don't look at duty that included liberty on the French Riviera as much of a sacrafice. Outside of an occasional plane blowing up on the way down the cat track and a Russian flyover it was more like an exotic four year vacation ;-)
Thanks to the real heros, those of you who dodged ordinance instead of jet aircraft. The flight deck or "roof" as we used to call it was dangerous duty but nothing compared to what the Army and Marines do.

Not a vet but thankful for everyone that is or was. Hopefully we take the time everyday to think of them, their families and the sacrifice that they make for us. As Stan said, thanks to the real heroes!
