Congratulations to Happy, Texas driver Rodney Sanders. It appears he came from the back (ran the "B" and won the feature. The kid is good. Also congrats to Ponca City driver and Ada winter nationals winner Casey McClaskey on a fifth place finish.

Also kudos to friend Frank Dittman on his win.

And hang in there Brian Wolfe, you have two nights in two rides (modified, factory stocks) during this coming weekends Jordan Page Winter Nationals at Lake Country Speedway in Ardmore to get back on the right track.

For those of you who have not been to BMS you are missing some fine racing. Mark and Debbie have done an outstanding job again this year!

Congratulations to all the winners...there were some hard fought battles!

See you all there next year!

Sounds like Brill has some good races. Never been there, will see to it that we visit next year. Meeker and Lake Country will be getting more attention from us next year as well. Im trying to make time for Lake Country Saturday. Lawton seems to have drained too much energy and time from us this year and the fun factor was very low and the drama high.

We Might be looking for a new Track home, Lake Country has some Cabins to stay in by Davis and Turnner Falls.......might make a few mini-vacation trips next summer! Who knows, respect and southern hospitality is really all a racer needs to feel welcome.

Thanks for reminding me that Lawton is not the Center of the Racing Universe. it will be like cheating on your spouse, guilt and all, but who knows I might finally divorce LS.

MM

Fight to win on the Track, not in the parking lot! I
just love the " Ur # 1. wave " from fellow racers as
we head home to our other lives !

Mark and Debbie Brill HAVE done an excellent job bringing that track back from death. They keep inproving at least twice during the season and then again during the winter months. Trust me when I say that drivers who weren't big fans of the track in the past are now liking it.

Haven't talked to Mark but I can be sure they have more improvements planned during this winter. And someboyd stated the crowd both nights this weekend were good. That is great to hear and maybe it will be the norm in 2009.

Burch, branch out and see the states different tracks. You won't get tied up in track points battles and the hate and discontent that goes along with it. You will again enjoy racing and the chance to see how your driver stacks up against others in different parts of the state.

While all track promoters have their faults with some people throughout the year, Mark Brill, Ronny Gould, George Welch, Lonnie Coville and Danny Womack have all got their weekly shows running good. And no, this is not a knock on anything to do with Lawton or OKC or whatever. Just getting out and racing to have fun almost seems the way to go.

David, Thanks! for the encouragement. We have had a few problems the past couple of weeks trying different motor combonations, But you can bet Mike and Terry at Mike machine shop will figure that out this week. Hope to have the bugs worked out this weekend at LCS and really looking forward to heading back to Ardmore to see Ronny and the gang for some good racing, hope to see you there!

I was really dissapointed Saturday night. Had hoped that the A feature would have been a much better battle between you, the 1J, the 44, the 4 car; the 64 and the 72. Something like we got the 1st or 2nd week Johnny came back. I know circumstances were beyond your control, just wanted to see a closer race at the end of the year.
