(Ventura, CA) Henry Clarke will make his second USAC Western States full midget start Saturday at Ventura Raceway in a Kruseman Motorsports entry. "I really like running the midget, plus I love racing at Ventura!" Fresh off his best USAC/CRA sprint car finish of sixth place last week at the Perris Auto Speedway, Clarke looks to improve on his initial midget start where he recorded a fourth place finish on May 17th.
Austin Mero will make his "outdoor" full midget debut in a second Kruseman entry. Mero had an impressive run in the 2008 Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK, his first ever visit inside the Tulsa Expo Center. The 2007 Jr. Focus Champion is very much looking forward to returning to the seat of a full midget, "I got to run the car some on Monday and I can't wait for Saturday, the midgets are so much fun"!
