Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Reschedule Three Races!
(Bill W) The Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders have announced three changes in their schedule. The 25th Annual Tom Knowles Memorial that was weathered out on Saturday, September 13 will now take place on Sunday, September 28. Hot laps have been moved up an hour and a half and will get underway at 5 p.m. The Sprint Invaders will again be joined by the POWRi midgets.
The Herb Barlow Memorial has been rescheduled for Friday October 3rd. Sprint Invaders will be on the 1/4 mile banked Morgan County Speedway and will be joined by the popular POWRi Midgets to form the traditional open-wheel doubleheader. Jerrod Hull became the first series repeat winner at the historic facility last May. Before Jerrod's win, there had been seven different winners in Jacksonville Sprint Inavders competition. The season championship for the series at the 34 Raceway in West Burlington has been moved from its original date, Saturday, September 27, to the following Saturday, October 4.
