Kind of a one sided poll isn't it. Where is my option to say no nonwings? Or not interested. You have tainted your results by not having a counterpoint.

If memory serves me correctly - they put wings on the cars after a lot of carnage with the non-wing cars. I've heard that there is no difference in insurance for a winged and non-winged show - but I'd like to know. I love watching the sprints without wings throwing the cars into the turns. It just seems it puts more into the drivers hands. Of course by now we kind of know it's set up - set up - set up.

i believe it is harder to drive the wing cars, man y times it appears to me the the wingless drivers set the cars in a drift and maintain the cars turning and attitude with throttle control, while the wing drivers are using brake to hold the front where they want, the sterring wheel to try to stay cloose to straigh and throttle to keep it going as fast as they can. If you want to watch racing that has the most driver factor and no wing go watch flat track motorcycles. At some tracks the wing 410 car is cloose to 4 seconds a lap faster. If the best wing drivers would appear at the special knoxville race I would attend., for 09 think I will hang out in camper the to hear who and how many check in before I waiste my money as the sunday make a good break in all the nights.

Traditional sprints are the way they started...without a wing. Which are the way I like 'em best.
