I see that Lanny is getting cheaper and cheaper as the year goes. First it was $5000 to win, then $4000.00 now $3000.00. What a joke he is.

Did the modified show in October include limited mods and champ sprints on the earlier fliers?

David the flyer I got for the Oklahoma Modified Championship at Statefair Speedway says that the Limited Modifieds are running for 500 to win. I like your flyer better

lol. hey dave Cowtown is also running a nationals type race on October 10th and 11th. its ASCoT - but i think they have a name for the show - dont really remember right off hand -

as far as lanny and the mod show. yeah he does keep gettin cheaper - and in all honesty i dont blame him. how many more mods you really gonna pick with ardmore and outlaw running? i'm sure they will still have a good field - but it aint gonna be leaps and bounds bigger than the field we had for the 1k to win. i mean - there was near 40 that night - i think the mod show in oct. would prob get at least 60. i wander with the thread we had about enid's big show ------ will it hurt this 3k show ----- with it being 2 days? also i dont see the point in 1k to win champ sprints. all the tulsa guys will run ocrs at enid that night. so any you pick up would probably be coming regardless........(lawton,bms). just points to ponder. sure not trying to start anything......

i hope its a good show - even though i cant see it. short track nationals will be the flavor that week. seeing that all the outlaws are traveling across the country anyways that weekend (cali the week before - lowe's the week after) - and with the 360's doin big things next year - we think we'll see more outlaws than usual there. there was about 6 or 7 last year. i think maybe close to 10 or more this year. bet schatz and saldana run it. considering they ran the ollie's stuff earlier in the year. well - its gonna be fun to see. i am in love with that track tho (I-30). wish they would run mods too out there during STN. great track.
