Well,well finally someone besides a Nix or Lucas Steele has won the coveted USA modified championship. After all it's only been since 2002 that these guys have dominated it. The question is will the 96 expand his horizons and be competative somewhere besides Lawton or is he just another Lawton Speedway joke?
Has anyone seen my red stapler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to both Daniel Cox and I think Lucas and Daniel made it quite a show on this last night of the Season... I think that that was a picture perfect Finish I am hoping someone got a picture of the finish and if so please let me know if it is possible to get a copy of that picture.... Yes I think Lucas Steele is one of my Favorites but Daniel Cox is also a very clean racer So Congrats to Daniel for Track Champ and Lucas for 2nd Place ... You can get Track Champ back Next year keep up the great racing and Hope you all are there for Winter Nationals

Dan, just goes to show hard work does pay off!!! Congrats on you championship...you deserve it!! We are very proud of you and the entire crew.
Also, congrats to Joe Bob on an excellent season, it is only a matter of time before you win your championship.

Congrats to Daniel Cox for a well deserved 2008 Modified Championship. Enjoyed the racing, good shows every week, again Thanks and Cogratulations !

You Know I now see why people on here see you as a realbutt sometimes you do nothing but downgrade drivers that are good Lucas Steele, Casey Henning and so on ... I agree thart it is boring if the same ones win week after week adftwer year after year but why make it seem like they are bad because they enjoy what they do and compete to get there ... Yes I agree Daniel Cox had to work for Champion but so did all the other drivers try not being so negetive and hard on anyonethat is not a Champ .....This Year ... LIKE I said in previous post I think Steele and Cox made for some edge of the seat racing on the last few laps of the season ... Not well aniel should have won it because it is not Steele or Nix... Maybe I misread your posts but I am seeing if that is so ... That alot of others do TOO

Why is it that when I state the facts people want to accuse me of bashing drivers? I call it like I see it. Lucas Steele and the Nixes are all good drivers and have dominated the championship the last 8-9 years, it's a nice change to see someone else win it that's all. As for the 2 mini stock well to be honest I never gave it much thought because when the minis are on the track I'm usually getting something to eat. What caught my attention about the 2 car were all the posts on here when in recent years there were none. So I take time to watch a mini feature and the 2 car ran away with the race and I get blamed again for bashing the driver when say what everyone knows that the 2 car has little competition. Now I'll get blamed for bashing the other cars who aren't as good as the faster cars in all divisions and all I'm doing is stating the facts. I, myself, call it being honest.

I have seen mini stocks keep up with street stocks, I love to watch them my self, and both street and mini are my favorite classes.
