(9-3-08 @ 8:50 pm) - FACT - Brian Brown and the Doogs #21 team has split effective immediately. There are a lot of rumors flying around about who will replace Brown in the seat of the #21 but nothing concrete as of this post. What happens with Super Clean now? I thought that Super Clean signed with the driver and not the team and it was for multiple seasons. I'm checking with sources and will keep this updated as I get info. UPDATE #1 - (9-3-08 @ 9:30 pm) - FACT - I just got word from Brian Brown that he and the Doogs have in fact split, effective immediately. However, you will continue to see Brian Brown pilot the Super Clean #21 in several events that remain on his schedule. Brian will be the owner/driver of the #21 for the remainder of the season. Super Clean is his sponsor and he is under contract with them so nothing will change as far as that goes. Brown's schedule has him running the ASCS Midwest race at Butler County Motorplex on Friday, the WOW event at Grain Valley on Saturday and the Nebraska Cup at Eagle Raceway on Sunday. However, Brown's press release that was sent out this afternoon has him running at Grain Valley on Saturday and tentatively at Eagle on Sunday. Good luck to both Brian and the Doogs for the rest of the season.
