They traveled in their toterhome up to Belleville Sunday morning and I drove up there by myself and they held their meeting on the way up there and a little bit at the track so I missed most of it.
The NCRA/Oklahoma modified and sport modified deal is definate and will happen. C Ray is working out a purse that you modified/sport mod drivers should like and one that will also help out the promoter. We are hoping this is a "win, win" situation. He is also in talks with Hoosier and is awaiting some information there too. C Ray's wife has been in the hospital in Omaha getting a liver transplant so his attention has been there. Plus, a track canceling their late model show just four before it was to happen had him scrambling at the last minute.
The NCRA 305 series will happen but the rules on them are still being and was being debated when I got there. He wants to do more research on them to make sure he goes with the right rules.
We at NCRA want to make sure all of our ducks are in a row and have everything set instead of going into it half-assed so to speak. While it is only September, we realize that fans and drivers are excited about NCRA and modifieds in an Oklahoma only setting and we should have all finalized real soon. I do hope you understand C Rays attention right now is with his wife but he also understands about the purse and tire situation.
Talk too your local track promoter and your fellow drivers about this deal next year and to climb aboard. The response I am getting from drivers is really positive at this point and there is lots of interest.
Thanks for your post and trust me when I say when I learn more I will post it. I am really excited about this as I feel it will be a good thing for all involved.

C Ray needs to take care of what matters, his wife.
If I were him a dirt track race is the last thing I would be worried about. .
He has done more for racers than any body else in a 5 state area.
Love going up to 81 Speedway athough its been awhile.
Not many dirt tracks have a bar at the track with pictures from back in the 50's & 60's,along with some damn cold beer.
My thoughts & prayers go to the Hall family through this tough ordeal.
A friend of mine has a daughter who had a kidney transplant(2nd one) and her body is rejecting it so I have seen first hand what a tough deal that is

NCRA will have Oklahoma based modified and sport mod divisions with races scheduled in Oklahoma. The NCRA 305 sprint series will compete prodominately in Kansas but we will run races in Oklahoma at any track who wants to schedule them.
The new NCRA North Texas.Southern Oklahoma late model series is self-explanatory.
