Hey, I applaud Ventura, always have. That's a great deal they have going and I've said that on this forum on many occasions. I also think that if you're going to do something do it right and for the life of me I can't figure why Nalor would purposely try to stink up his show. I keep thinking about the hay in the track. Yes, hay has been used off and on for years at some tracks, not only help keep some moisture in, but to hold it together as well. Maybe he was trying something different and it just didn't work?

Maybe it's because I hold Ventura in such high regard because of what the've done without ASCS or it could be that I don't know sh+t... Actually the track didn't look to bad at the beginning. at least on the Video. That was some wheely that Cory pulled on the back chute.

The only thing worse than whiner's, is people whining about them..LOL

Did I say that about the track? Oh man, duck Kenny duck!

The straw is from the fair when they flatten the track out a bit and have concerts and stock shows and stuff in there.

There is always a bit of a run in period after the long fair layover. I dont know if intentionally sabotaging the show is fair. Like I say, perhaps conditions favored the state of mind at the time. I really dont know, but if you do want to know I am sure if Mr Naylor as a spare minute he would love to discuss any and all concerns about Ventura with you. Phone him up.

That's exactly what I advised Oakhust to do. I'm wasn't me that was complaining, read my previous post's.

I went back and read my post and if you didn't know what I had said previously you could have easily thought that..When I said,"and for the life of me I can't figure why Nalor would purposely try to stink up his show'... I should have added, and I don't think he did.

No stock shows are on the track. The Rodeo is however and the area you speak of with straw was the stock pens where the animals were fed. I went to several concerts and the only dirt I saw moved was a exit ramp was pushed up by turn one grandstands. The rest of the track looked the same, even had the tire ruts. The stage was set up in turn 3 and 4.

The last few times ive walked across the track to get to the infield there was straw all over the infield and in the high groove. A lot of it in the infield, not so much for the CRA show but it was still there.

Its getting dark earlier so the sunlight wont be such a factor for too much longer and hopfully we can get some saturdays without so much wind. Either way I wont see a race till the end of the month with all this work im doing. The good news is I should be able to afford to drive to the shows and have a hotdog...
