IT make me very angry when I read a negative post about how poor a show Brainerd was or how many cars were there. You all b*tch and belly ache about it but NO ONE does a d*mn thing to help make it better. How many calls have you made to promote.I don't give a d*mn what you clowns think, I will keep doing the best I can to make it better, and if you all shut your negative traps and promote it it will get better. Greg Parent is the single best friend we have and you sure as h*ll don't hear him complain, as he has spent thousands of dollars to increase purses. As for the track conditions at Brainerd or Cedar Lake or any other track why don't you look at the work that goes in to track prep then see if the wind and sun don't play h*ll on your days prep. When I read s*** like that it makes me want to quit but then I consider the source. Spend the money and go to Hussets , 14 cars Last Sunday, or drive to Knoxville which is what 2 -3 hundred in gas.

Post left on the board, "*'s" inserted in a few places but your point still comes across.
I just wanted to add my two cents worth on Joe's post. NCS isn't the Knoxville Nationals but 20 cars on that track is good racing. Like Joe says, we can support what's available up here or go somewhere else if we don't like it. The way I look at it a good day at a Sprint Car race with 18-20 cars is better than any day at work or a lot of other places. And for most of us it's in our own back yard so when you factor in the gas and motel to those other places it looks even better.
I have seen some outstanding races when there was a 20 car field and some yawners when there were were a lot more cars. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to NCS this weekend due to family obligations but I have been there for quite a few of the Sprint Car races. Thanks to Cliff for hosting the Sprints up there.

The Kouba Memorial event held at Brainerd in July, was a damn good race. There were (3) different drivers, who at different times, looked like they had it won. Everybody is so set on car counts.
We are very proud to be associated with the Kouba Memorial event and love coming to Brainerd every year. If they ever decide to have a race on a night other than Saturday, the car counts would be different, but hey it only takes (2) cars side by side to make a great race...CZ

Joe,
Some people think negative about anything in this world, it's always some stupid ass that has to open his trap and say something about anything. The Kouba Memorial was one of the best paying shows to be involved with. I'm glad we were there and will continue to support Cliff and the staff at NCS. Thanks to your family for putting on such a nice show every year! That dude should go to Knoxville and Husets and stay the hell away from Brainerd. Davy & Margaret
