Week 23 Results of the Open League. last regualr seasons week for the open league. next week is the Open League Shootout!!!!! threads will be made accordingly. no picks need be put in this thread.

thank ya'll for playing this week. 21 players - not bad. for 2 weeks in a row we woulda had 24 if Jeff woulda came to the races  lol. but this does it for the regular season of the Open League. the recap will be coming this week.
as stated before - no picks need to be put in this thread. there will be 2 threads for the Open League Shootout for this next weekend. 1 for friday. 1 for sunday. this is to prevent after the fact editing. and it makes it somewhat easier in the end - on everyone including me. one will say Shootout Friday. the other Shootout Sunday................friday has to be in by 7pm friday. sunday's by 6pm Sunday.

Yippee!! I finally won, thanks to Burns nipping Decker at the wire on the last lap of the night. Man, that was close. Blu20qt and I had the same picks except for those 2. Of course, I got a little help from Danny Jennings' little "fly-over". Geez, what was he doing? Text messaging or something?!

It is a dam good thing I have a LITTLE extra padding, because I am being used as a punching bag every week. It is really getting old. Oh well, at least I give the competition a chance.

David - you and I were the only 2 to compete in every single week of the Open League.
I'm putting recaps together for the final Interleague Standings, Open league, and Official League. i would say they are massive - but thats prob just because i spent about 7 hours on it total up to now - still got a few left.
wanna know your final open league stats david?
Appearances - 21
wins - 2
top 5's - 9
Total Pts. - 562
average weekly pt. total - 26.7
average weekly finish - 7.4
the average weekly finish is adding up your finishing positions from each week - and then dividing them by the # of times you played (appearances). so like if you got 4th, 4th, and 2nd. that would be 10 - divided by 3 = 3.33. kind of a cool stat i thought. but the open league recap will feature these statistics for all 30 teams who have to date played in the open league........
its taken all week just putting this stuff together..........and a reminder - the both the shootout threads will be opened - late tomorrow. over the weekend there will many a race topic - and results and stuff - it would be difficult to keep all the threads at the top........so figured i would just open them tomorrow and give us all a lil break
