Some awesome racing took place last night on a very fast Santa Maria Speedway with a full grandstand of fans to see it.
Nic Faas won the sprint car race from the pole with Garrett Hansen on his left rear as they came off turn 4 heading to the checkers. Faas also won his heat race earlier as the family owned operation had a great night.
In the NMRA midget division, both heat races & the feature event went green to checkers with only one car falling out during the night. Kenny Wiley also won his heat & the feature form the pole with an intense battle for 2nd between 4 cars that put on a great race. West Evans ended up 2nd with his cousin Chuck West rounding out the top 3.
