Jackson Nationals Thursday Night Update:
IMCA Modifeds, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and B Modifieds!
Please arrive early for pre tech, if you are late you run the risk of missing hot laps or heat races. Hobby Stocks and B Mods you will be tubed and whistled, before the races (9-1 and 360).
On Thursday Night the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars are both IMCA Sanctioned races for State, Region and National Points (but this is not a track point night). The claim rule will not be in effect on any of the classes at the Nationals (even Sanctioned Classes).
In the IMCA Stock Cars, B Mods and Hobbies the top 12 will be locked in the A Main. Everyone else will be placed in a last chance race(s). These last chance races will be lined straight up by your finish (from 13th on back) on Thursday with any new cars starting behind the any cars that ran on Thursday.
Draw for heat race starting spots, finishing and passing points to determine Thursday’s feature line-up. Saturday’s line-up will be straight up based on Thursday Nights Finish.
The basic B Mod rules for the Nationals: 9/1, 360 Cubic Inch, Forward and Reverse gears that work, 2 Link (or Leaf) rear end, 500 Holley, American Racer or Hoosier G-60 Tires, Weight 2500 lbs.
Everyone is wondering how many cars on Thursday? All I know is my phone has been ringing a lot!
What happens if Thursday is a complete rain out? We will simply run Heats and Features on Saturday for the B Mods, Hobbies and Stock Cars.
