I just looked at the photos on Hoseheads Speed Shotz and recognized the TMC on the side of the third Silver Crown car. It is great to see TMC back on a sprint car/silver crown car....even if it is on a limited basis. Who was driving this car? Cool.

Michael Annett; either Harold Annett's son or grandson. He also races in ARCA stock cars....

Michael is also a developmental driver for Bill Davis Racing and raced in the NASCAR Craftsmen Truck Series

Every time I see one of the TMC trucks on the interstate it reminds me of Sammy's car back in those times... they keep their trucks spotless!
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

..the only thing better would be to see the JWH logo back on a sprint car!

Too bad they couldn't do something like Danny Smith did for the National's...a retro car for Sammy. Woulda been kinda neat to see the TMC black and gold/chrome # 1 again. That combo sure did prove entertaining in the early 80's, just from the crowd reaction alone.

There is speculation on the Dave Blaney board that Annett (Harold's son) will be in a 2nd BDR Cup car next year. He is supposed to be testing at Gateway in STL this week.

The J. W. Hunt Produce operations were not far from where I work in Plant City and they have apparently been sold as a new name appeared on the buildings a few months ago. As a side note I frequently see the TMC trucks across the street getting loaded with Hardie Board from their manufacturing facility. Things sure are about change as we grow long in tooth.
