I wanted to congratulate Jay Caraveau on his first mini stock A Feature win of this season. Congratulations Jay, you earned it.
Also congrats to Cody "The Kid" Metshcer on his 5th win of the season.
And last but not least congratulations to 10 yr. old Colby Propps for setting the record as the youngest mini stock driver at BMS. Also nice job of keeping the car straight and not beeing a nuisance to other drivers. I think those are two of the most important things a new driver can learn. Great Job!! Come back soon!!!!

I wanted to visit with the Propps family, but I was busy by the time I found out they were there. Mark was going to let me interview Colby at intermission, but the rain forced us to cut intermission to just the 50/50 drawing.
Brian , those other guys are getting closer and closer to the win, you're gonna have to work harder LOL!

Colby had a great time. He felt {what I would imagine} me going to Tallidega. I would like to thank the other Mini Stock teams for letting us race with them as well as congratulate Brian Jay and Cody on their wins. We're planning on comming back to Brill next weekend {maybe with both cars} and if you can find the time great, but I understand there is alot for you to do. Colby does hold a good line and is familar with race proceduers now if we can just get use to "Stock Car Racin" we'll have it made. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Old J D
