I thought the new co-anchor with Brad was a poor choice He did not seem to know sprint car racing and the racers and provided very little useful race commentary and Brad had to save his ass on a number of calls. He didn't know the drivers names "59 spun" I could see that; who was 59. Also, he asked Brad stupid questions during the races in stead of trying find some action or interest in the race that we were seeing.
Find the hard charger and spend some time on them. Show action in the back. After 3 days of preliminaries where you end up putting the best guys up front, it may become a parade, thats when you need a great announcer to make it interesting and meaningful for the viewers.
Why didn't they use Bobby who is without a doubt the best and most knowledgeable announcer in Sprint Racing (especially wings) There was some good racing on friday night and they should have shown more real racing and not so much fluff.
I do appreciate any coverage of sprint cars and want to thank Speed for the coverage (I don't care whether it is live or taped just as long as it is good). Speed has a long and great history of bringing Knoxville to the country. If you look at some of the old broadcasts and you will see the the announces made the show even if the racing wasn't too exciting.
What's your opinion

Its the same result with all new announcers that dont know sprint car racing. The main announcer said they are already on the throttle when the green flag waved. Another said there was a six inch cushion.
