from what 4 of us could clearly see on tv tonight - and what we saw IN PERSON last weekend. the saturday show of the 360 nationals was AGAIN better than the saturday show of the 410's. this is a FACT.
of all 8 nights knoxville had run - - - that appared to be the worst track and least entertaining of them all. which is funny - because it wasnt a bad track necessarily - or a bad race - its just the other 7 nights and their tracks were that damn good.

Its the same story with College football vs. NFL, Busch (or whatever they are called) vs. NASCAR and so on and so on. They (360s) are hungry!! Sean.

The state of sprint car racing is not in such a terrible turmoil as some have stated here. I think the two(BIG BROTHER 410) and not so little (LITTLE BROTHER 360) can co-exsist fairly well on the national scene. I don't think just because Emmett Hahn has got access to the deep pockets of the LUCAS OIL execs, that he is going to go huge, and overtake the open wheel ranks with 360 sprints being the dominant force in the sport.
Having LUCAS OIL jump on board as major player in the operations of the ASCS is going to help bring more attention to an already good product. Just look at the starting grid for this years "A" main at the "BIG BROTHER" nationals. Quite a few of the drivers in the field have had ties to 360 sprints and the ASCS. So it goes to show that the ASCS breeds great competition, and is a great place to hone your skills to move on to a larger national platform of racing or, make a decent career out of racing by running a full-time 360 sprint car team.
To put it simply there not having to improve the product of the ASCS, but by having LUCAS OIL as a major partner, they are adding more incentives to the product. Will it work? Who knows. The increased exposure could be a good thing. We just have to wait an see..

I've been going to the 410 nats. for alot of years, but this year was my first 360 nats.-The 360 nats. were 10 times better than what I saw last night.I think that's the worst 410 nats. I have seen. There wasn't one good standout race all night.Sat.night of the 360 nats was just the opposite, every race was good.
