(Oskaloosa, IA) The front row Challenge was a good momentum builder
heading in to 410 nationals at knoxville. Tdub qualified 7th out of 30
cars. The SC Motorsports sprinter was slated to start fourth in the
first heat race Tdub advanced two positions and finished 2nd. After the
heat race there was a foot race on the front stretch that involved the
top two finishers from each heat. Tdub won the foot race down the front
stretch with winning the foot race he won a set of all pro heads. We
started the A-main in 6th position and worked our way up to 2nd. With
two laps to go Tdub attempted a slide job on the leader and couldnt get
the job done. Tdub finished 2nd. This was a another solid top 5 run for the SC motorsports team.

8/7: Qualifying Night at Knoxville
(Knoxville,
IA) Thursday night marked the second night of qualifying for the 49th
annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals. After posting a lap of
15.711which was 19th quick out of 56 cars the team discovered that
there was a problem in the fuel tank with the hose that directs the
fuel to the front of the car due to this problem it was making the
motor bog down. Tdub finished 3rd in heat number 4. In the A-main Tdub
started on the front row. During the A main the car's left rear tire
was wore down to hardly nothing which was blistered and it was leaking
air. Tdub salvaged an 8th place finish in the Amain. By finished 8th
this locked us in to the A-main saturday night.
