Here is my list to make the A on Saturday. I started with 38 and had to trim it down to the 24. It was tough, but this is what I came up with. Let me know what you guys think.
Saturday A-Main:
Jac Haudenschild
Craig Dollansky
Dusty Zomer
Jason Sides
Chad Kemenah
Steve Kinser
Mark Dobmeier
Jason Meyers
Wayne Johnson
Donny Schatz
Tony Bruce Jr.
Jason Johnson
Joey Saldana
Brian Brown
Daryn Pittman
Billy Alley
Greg Hodnett
Terry McCarl
Lance Dewease
Danny Lasoski
Fred Rahmer
Kerry Madsen
Brooke Tatnell
Tim Shaffer
Honorable Mention: Sammy Swindell, Paul McMahan, Brandon Wimmer, Sam Hafertepe Jr, Kraig Kinser, Tyler Walker, Jason Solwold, Clint Garner, Davey Heskin, Brian Leppo, Kaley Gharst, Shane Stewart, Tim Kaeding, Cody Darrah, Ricky Logan

I think McMahan and Stewart have a lot better chance than Tony Bruce and Ricky Logan. McMahan and Stewart always qualify good which = lots of points and up front in B if they don't make it out of the heat on their qualifying night...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

I would include Swindell, McMahan, Kraig, Tyler and TK in that group and you can leave off some of those East Coast guys, lol. Take It Easy......

McCarl could even be questionable with the way he has been running lately. Logan also might be a dark horse. Heskins could be another dark horse.

No Dale Blaney???

Sorry, completely forgot about him. I used the national pre-entry list as to try and get everybody. I knew of a couple that were not on the list that would be there, but forgot about Dale. I would put him in the honorable mention (good chance to make the A) list. When I made the list I did take a couple long shots on some of the locals making the A because there usually are a couple that manage to sneak in.

It was tough to eliminate some of those guys. It's such a tough field and with the format, it's a crap shoot. I'm just trying to see how close I get with guessing on a few long shots that manage to make the field.

After seeing Walker run Saturday, he has a top 5 car under him and obviously has the talent to throw it up there come Saturday night.

Good point, while going threw all the names, I figured I would miss one and it was a BIG one at that. Just made a change, Steve Kinser in, Ricky Logan to the Honorable Mention list.

You can also count on Jeff Shepard making the A as he has the 2nd longest streak of consecutive A Mains made next to some guy named Kinser. I don't know how long Shepard's streak is but its close to double digits of 10 in a row when attending.

I think that I would definately have TK on the A-main list. The problem would be who to put on the honorable mention list. Tony Bruce? Tk didn't qualify well Saturday night, but he was sure flying when he got to the B-main.

Thing is, you always have a couple of surprises make it and a couple of disappointments or real bad luck(i.e. Rahmer last year, McMahan a few years ago). I wouldn't be surprised if any of those on your A list make the show, along with quite a few more, but I also wouldn't be surprised about half of the guys on that same list not making it, with a few being out to lunch on Saturday night due to bad qualifying draws or some sort of unforseen issue.

I put Tony Bruce in the A because he has only been to the nationals twice with two very respectable showings. Made the A as a rookie to the nationals in 06 and made the B last year.

Saldana in second are you kidding me?? That team has had such a hard time this year getting a grasp on what is going on. Then again, it's Nationals and anybody has as good of a chance predicting the top 24 starters.
