Wayne said that the 360's are getting TV next year in the post race interview. I guess the 360's are breaking out next year on the nation more than what they have done.

They are supposed to have like 10 shows on speed. It is supposed to be sponsored by Lucas oil and pay $100,000 to the champion.

David, it is like going to be a champion of those ten shows gets the money or an overall points champion for the entire year?

Congrats to AJ (Wayne) and to Russell and David. The ARP "Dominator" wing is a proven Winner.

man tonite was one hell of a race!

exactly what we came up here to see. they had a horrible rut in turn 2 that Wayne hit 3 or 4 times while leading and put him in the wall - he somehow kept the contact minimal - but I bet he soiled his drawers lol. Tyler Walker and Brian Brown were puttin on clinics. cautions just never came after the first one. Gary Wright was in 2nd and runnin better than Jason Johnson - and in the early and only caution - just str8 up pulled off. we went down afterwards and looked and both front wing mounts were broke - like leaning to the left. must have been playin hell with the handling. Jason Johnson straight choked BAD in the A Main. set up to run low - it went away - helped in no small part by the others puttin clinics on the top - Mr. Personality moved up high and faded - and faded - and faded. He actually had some personality after the A Main - he was PISSED.

tonite proved the difference between the 360's and 410's. there isnt one. sure the 410's turn faster laps by a second or so. but there was racing was NO better than the 360's tonite. both were great shows. in fact - the 360 A was exhibiting much more ability - but that may have come with the emergence of the rut in turn 2.

in closing - Joe Wood Jr. got screwed. on the first lap Michigan's Dustin Daggett pulled a mini-slider and clipped Joe. Daggett didnt run over the whole front - it just clipped it enough to knock the Airflow Racing Products front wing right off. (PLUG HAHA) - Joe was pissed - gave daggett a couple love bumps during the yellow. Joe tried hard the next few laps - but without the front wing at knoxville - u can only go backwards. but he ran well this weekend. adjusted well to different grooves and stuff.

What happened to Larry Neighbors? would have started pole on the C. somethin happen to the car?

44 410's tonite. 90 something 360's. half the D Main didnt show. but they had a full E Main and just transfered 12. so it was still 5 FULL features for the 360's. this was the show we really come to see. thurs and fri are good. sunday good too - they start 30 in it. but saturday is just unbeatable. for 2 years - and I'm betting a 3rd as well ------- most say it is the best show at knoxville hands down. on the final note --------- IT IS TIME TO RAISE THE FUNKIN PURSE FOR THE 360 NATIONALS!!!!!!!! the stands were freakin LOADED! more than I ever seen here for the 360's. there were as many people each of the prelim nights than i ever seen for the sat. finale in years past. the front staright stands were bout 75-80% full. even the drivers and track officials were astounded by the turnout all 3 nights. 10k is great to win ---- but its the lower end of the purse that is most important - and it is kind of lacking to an extent. but they still get 110+ each year since they moved it to august. this should be a sign to cappy - double the total purse from the 110k up to about 250k - get on the phone to drivers across the nation and let em know the new purse and how much you want em to come ------ and watch em show in droves even more than now!

and lanny edwards is a little thieving bastard. to charge 20 bucks for the horribly weak ascs national shows at SFS ------- we payed 20 tonight and saw 140 sprints. what a thieving little shit.................

Fan the guys on the net said 129 cars checked in the pits tonight. Granted 100 sprints is a good thing no matter where.

well yeah i guess if half the d main was out - and then a couple in the e and c. that would make for about upper 80's. by transfering half the E - and then 6 out of the D - they still managed full features in all 5 of the 360's. sather ran from the E to the C. but then became the lone flip of the night.

all i know is that race kicked ass. i am wandering - is there any other race night in the nation that gets 129 sprints?

Overall champ. I think Wayne said it was going to pay $6,000 to win each show. They are going to pay better back in the field. There are supposed to be a couple of pretty big name Outlaw guys already commited to the deal.

plus and minus i think. but i dont think the outlaw guys runnin it is a good idea. i mean it is in some ways. but quite possibly its just going to be schatz leading many of them - and then what happens? the cameras show the pillsbury dough boy instead of the 360 regs who need the exposure. but then again - maybe this was put together by some who are in business with 410's - that ainr a bad thing. i think this could have come from what stewart and co. did with the Ollie's 360 challenge right now? does it not sound somewhat similar?

i just hope the lesser known 360 racers get some very good and well deserved recognition in this deal - the cherry pickers dont really need it - the 360 guys do. ah hell what am i sayin - all sprint car racing needs more recognition. i'm interested to here more.

David jones ya'll make magic wings. wayne ran good sat. when he won the 360's. but coming from dead last (30th) to 4th in 25 laps with 1 caution - was impressive. Mr. Personality should be thankin his lucky stars that there were not more stoppages - Wayne was BY FAR the fastest car on the track - without any question whatsoever. he sure took it on the chin at the beginning - literally! we stopped by and was talkin to the Miss car owners and they showed us the helmet. what a pesky rock - bout takes his head off and then gets stuck under the freakin throttle! glad he was ok. man he kicked a lot of ass for 3 days in a row. mr. personality choked bad in the 360 nat's a main - we were entertained. an awesome 4 nights of racing that i dont think could really be rivaled this year ANYWHERE. i'll ramble on about it when i get home tomorrow night.
