The reason I asked because I'm thinking about getting my son into racing maybe next year but I'm afraid to buy one to soon because I don't know how often they change there rules and the cars could be outdated.

Redneck;Starting out,you wont go wrong,the car wont outdate.Just check all safety equipment.There are 8-9 yr old cars running well out there.

I totally agree with everyone here about just getting him started I just really meant major changes but the engine change is as major it has gotten it makes me really want him started.

Redneck.if you buy JD's car you'll be helping both yourself and him.Your son will be starting off his racing addiction and maybe JD will FINALLY purchase a CHEVY motor.
