Well they recorded it so we should have it soon even if it is a little "tape" delayed.

Two nights in a row, the audio cuts out for the A Main - not a coincidence, someone doesn't want it to happen

I didn't even try going online last night. We got a PPV movie on Dish and ordered a pizza. I don't think I've ever listened to a racing webcast that was flawless from start to finish but if I'm on the computer doing something I'll tune in and listen to it in the background.

How many listen to baseball on the radio? That's what I liken these webcasts to but if the local radio station cut in and out like these webcasts I'd never bother listening to the Twins. Matter of fact the only time I listen to them is when I'm driving somewhere, working in the garage or relaxing in the campground of a racetrack. I have a wired DSL connection so I've got to sit at the computer to listen and it's not as comfortable as my recliner in front of the TV.

Sometimes these racing webcasts are handy when there's nothing else going on but I don't plan my weekends around them. Racing is about being there, seeing friends and enjoying the experience so even televised racing isn't a big priority.

That's just my opinion but I'm sure there are people who thrive on the racing webcasts. I'll listen in if they're convenient but my connection has dropped before the start of the A Main too many times so I don't get into the broadcast only to be dropped on my head a couple hours into it.

For some reason these live racing feed stations assume that we're all headbangers and that gets kind of old too. I can listen to a few of those types of songs but racing audiences come from all age groups and in my case I'd rather hear classic rock than death metal or rap. And don't give me that BS about us older folks not being computer literate. My hobby is computing, graphics, digital photography and a website. My last project was a P4 3gig Linux box. When they 20 somethings come over I have to show them how to use Linux.

Stan, baseball is great on the radio, man I grew up listening to Ernie Harwell, better than live TV most nights.

The announcers sure made last nights last 9 or 10 laps pretty exciting, TMC passing on the high side in lapped traffic with a few to go, yeah babay! Take It Easy.....

we had it covered on the last night, gotta love dial up. GREAT job to Rich Vleck, the ASCS Patriots have one heck of a voice.

We got the WHOLE feature on live, guess they forgot to kill the dial up huh? lol
