There'll probably be just as many fans in the stands tonight as there are cars in the pits!

Scoop, I would imagine that is a Hammonds car (although I can't speak to that as fact).

Currently they run the same format as the big Nationals, only without the non-qualifiers night. They used to use passing points but switched to this format in either '06 or '07.

You outta stick to your day job instead of playing fortune teller. Your the same negative prick that scorned all the Iowans for wanting to go to a race to get their minds off from the flooding and disasters for a night. We'll see how the crowd is tonight and go from there. I hope for your sake that you are not there so that you don't get the mexican hat dance from some of the locals over comments from earlier this summer about their choice to go to a race during the flooding.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

It's a format that is pretty close to the format of the 410 Nationals (qual, heats, features), minus the complete invert in the heats. They get points the same way though. The invert in the heats has been 6 the past few years (which sucks, should be a complete invert!), and used to be 8. Who knows what it will be this year until the first heat lines up, but probably will be 6. Either way, always great racing these qualifying nights.

They've mostly used passing points only when crappy weather dictated - which honestly, has put a damper on more than a few 360 Nationals...

thanx for the info, Chilly. we were supposed to be there but got sick. Pong can tell ya more. Oh, sprinter25.....we weren't even gonna stay for the 410 Ntls! As a good friend who posts here says..."the 360Ntls is the best race nobody sees" That was all we needed to want to go. We found out about the Chili Bowl a while back & now look at it! Livin' in ohio means we're close to everything!!!HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! oh yea,,,,be weary of the big red flag next week!

That sucks Stubb... look forward to seeing you next week. The 360 Nationals have been awesome and for the most part better than the 410 Nationals lately. I'm thinking (and hoping) that we're due for an awesome 410 Nationals this year... last year's sucked

I look forward to these next 3 days then I do for the 410's seems like it's a lot better racing and you have the true sprint car fans. Not just the ones the come to see the outlaws. It's going to be nice to see Randy Martin win it all this year.
