I was curious as to there is going to be a live webcast for the racing this weekend in Knoxville? I was also wondering if anyone had any news if this years Knoxville Nationals will be televised live again this year?

www.racenetwork.tv will have live video of all 3 nights and brodix tournament of champions for $27.75 for the full four day package. Or you can buy individual nights for 7.99, except that the third night of nationals is 12.99.

Perfect Rogue-9, good looking out. Well you pulled through for the 360's, is there anything in place of the same for the 410's? Keeping fingures crossed lol

Nothing except for the tv portion on Speed saturday night, starting with the c-main. However hoseheads radio should cover everything else.

Rogue-9 is correct. An owner from racenetwork.tv was on the Full Throttle Racing Show last night and explained the dates and the prices.

Yea, but listening to your guys is like comparing Willie Nelson and Steve Kinser to sprint-car racing. You guys are the Willie Nelson, and Hoseheads radio is the Steve Kinser! I'll take Hot-Rod and Bill 12 times over easy! Good luck to all, but I'll be tuned into Hoseheads radio.

It comes on at 10pm eastern meaning 9pm cental. That is probably c-main time if i remeber right from last year. I would say that it is live.

No live video feed throughout the 410 nationals? That sucks!

As a couple people have pointed out, yes we, race/network ( http://www.racenetwork.tv ) will be doing a live stream from Knoxville for all 3 days of the 360 Nationals + the Tournament of Champions.

Hot Rod and the Hoseheads Radio group will be there streaming live free audio and we will be doing a pay-per-view live video broadcast.

Pricing is as follows: Prelim Night #1 ($7.99), Prelim Night #2 ($7.99), 360 Nationals Main Event Night + the 410s ($12.99), Tournament of Champions ($7.99).

Or you can purchase a full 4-Day Package for $27.75 (25% off individual pricing) - basically a 1/2 tank of gas for most of us Smile

Remember besides the huge turn out of 360's there will be quite a number of 410's there on Saturday as a test and tune for the Nationals.

As far as the Knoxville Nationals next week, we will not be doing any live video during those days. We very much wanted to do the 3 prelim nights and the track had interest also, but with already signed contracts and rights, SPEED has a lot of input as to the video over those 4 days.

Thanks, Ian

race/network ( www.racenetwork.tv )

PS Hot Rod it must have been a really neat night last weekend up at Husets with the Wolfgang induction and then his son going out and grabbing his 1st win.

Hey Ian just wondering how the video looks on the screen. Can you use the whole screen, or is it just a small picture? I don't have a lot of experience with video.

thanks,

jfo

Our video player is 448 pixels wide, so it is larger then what most are used to seeing, which is 320 wide.  But we also have full screen capability, though you have to keep in mind that when you take 448 and blow it up, it will not be as good.

We also have had several people tell us they have gone out of their laptops to 50" and 60" Plasma TV's and watched in their living rooms and were very pleased with the picture.  This feedback came from when we did the Western World last year and also just this past weekend when we streamed the Hooters Pro Cup Series live.

So there are options.

Thanks, Ian

That sucks. I was hoping as well that there would be live video available for the first couple nights of the 410 Nats.

I gotta agree that this really sucks not seeing Thursday and Friday of the 410's. I say screw the Speed Channel and lets put the 410's on the net like the 360's. I was watching some video on race network earlier and it's really pretty cool. In fact I went ahead and subscribed for all 4 nights.

You can also follow along with all the lineups, complete finishes and commentary on the action at www.knoxvilleraceway.com under the Results link. You can do that as you listen...
