Is the entire world on vacation or asleep? Hollywood Dan smoked 41 other sprinters at Santa Maria last night in the best show of the year. Faccinto punched a hole in the fence in Turn 1 and Porte destroyed his car in a spectacular flip at the flagstand near the end. Justyne Hamblin rode the wall Sheridan style and moved up from 15th to 6th. Early on she climbed the wall between 1 and 2 and never let off. Gonna have to get a new term for the ladies. Cajones doesn;t cut it.

Two seconds and two wins for Danny in the last 4. Wings? We don't need no stinkin' wings!

couldn't agree more, Dusty.

Danny tells me after the race that's what he loves about non-winged, racing, slicing and dicing everywhere!

working on my review and pics, up hopefully in a couple of days.....

in the meantime, maybe Loudpedal will highlight that unbelievable crash...

hope Greg is ok!

Hollywood Dan and everybody did a great job of racing. WOW there was some serious racing up front and through-out the pack!

Greg Porte is doing very well- just spoke with him and he was greatful for all of the calls. He will be back...they need to replace the chassis.

Justyne did do a great job. Hope everyone had a good time. Huge crowd and up against Mid-State Fair and summer movie season! Wow...

A few glitches during the race we are attending too to make sure they don't happen in the future.

Over-all a great show!

Thanks to host SMS, the Bandit Series and the fantastic VRA folks!

Brian Camarillo.

Took a tire knock on the head.

Fired up and got back in the race!
