I told a few people last night to check gotomn for my Arlington pics but I'm not going to get them posted today and it might end up being Monday night. I got some good action shots but I want to appologize for the victory lane photos. I didn't know they had moved the victory lane celebration to the runoff area between the wall and catch fence so I didn't bring a wide angle lens. To add insult to injury I forgot to turn the power down on my flash when I took Shannon Ericksen's victory lane shot so I had to take one of him with his trophy after the races. The bugs were bad last night and when one flys in front of the flash it looks like a big white ball so that wrecked what would have been some great action shots as well.
In spite of a tough night of shooting I still got some real nice action shots. There are about 150 "keepers" which was a disappointment because usually I'll average around 80% and last night it was down to about 60%.
Anyways, we've got company coming today so check back later tonight and if they're not on there check again tomorrow night. It takes a couple hours to get them ready and uploaded. Again, sorry I didn't know about the location change for victory lane nor did I anticipate the delay in getting photos posted. I'll be sure to bring a wide angle lens next time I go to Arlington.
