Well, I for one was very disappointed in Holly's actions after the factory stock race, and most of the crowd reacted the same way.

Act like a child, get treated like a child, ground them and take away their allowance.

Suspend her for two weeks and take her points...that was not role model behaviour...jmo

from what i saw was a little bump and grind around the track a few times then she got mad and tagged him in the rear hard when he was pulling into the infield to get checked after the race was done.

First off I want to apologize for my actions Sat. night. I should have never of touched the 44 after the race.

I have been beat and banged on by him for sooo many weeks and lost my temper. There is is difference between rubbing and racing and beating and banging. I simply had enough and I am not going to take it anymore. That does not in any way excuse me shoving him into the in field however.

I do apologize for my temper, it will not happen again. The green light will be on!

from what i was told its on the 91 sprint car and its nothing but a computer system that reads data from the car and records it so that he can take it home and observe how he drove. Then he can take all the data and find out what he can do to be faster. some of the other drivers have a problem with it.

It was probably just a Mycron (sp?). They have sensors on the car to tell the drvier and crew how fast he is going, lap times, RPM's and other various things. These are used in mini's all the time and I think that Waddell has one on her car. The mini sprint guys can tell you more about it.

These could be used for traction control I'm sure, but so could an MSD or any other mag for that matter. I say allow no computers on sprint cars because they should be bare essential beasts with just the driver to make it go faster. It's not a big deal to me when people use them though, in my opinion it can't help you that much.

I think they should even outlaw hand signals (even though I'm guilty of signaling people). That, just like traction control would be completely impossible to enforce though.

Sorry guys, but Holly's deal is not a suspend-able offence. Probably should have pulled both drivers over to talk to Mark and figure it out, and maybe a rough driving penalty, which it takes 2 to get a 1 week suspension, but not any points. Come on guys, or gals, get real. This is nothing new to racing. Even the big boys in NASCAR do it, and they get takin to the trailer, talk it over and get put on probation or maybe a small fine, but not season points. And plus, Holly made an apology here and I'm pretty sure they'll have some kind of discussion before the next race.

We all accepted Brian when he made his apology, show the same courtesy now.

As far as the electronic device in the sprint car, i dont know. This is the rule for the modifieds, so i would think it should be somewhat in line with ours:

GAUGES/ELECTRONICS:

No transmitting or listening devices, timing retard controls, or digital gauges (including tach). No electronic monitoring computer devices capable of storing or transmitting information except analog tach. No adjustable ignition control boxes. Only one 12 volt ignition box allowed, must be out of driver’s reach. No additional ignition accessories allowed. Only change allowed to ignition box is one high-end rev-limiter setting. This setting can be changed through one chip only, or an internal setting inside box. No electronic traction control devices.

So i guess you can make your own conclusions about that one.

Fiist of all i would like to introduce myself as number 44's brother, pit crew and fan of all racing. I would like to personally tell holly that 44 (Chad Weber) daughter who is nine years of age is probably holly's number one race fan, she had a picture taken with holly and had it blown up and gave to her dad as a gift to him, Our whole family admire holly and her driving skills, we do cheer her on..we don't miss a race. there may be a little bumping with all cars, its racing, but never intentionally has chad ever hit a car, matter of fact he hits his brakes to much avoiding wrecks,, he has came a long way in the past couple of years, and i think holly cant stand it that he will pass her in points even though he started a few races late this year, good luck holly your gonna need it, and as far as your comment about your gonna get him in the green light, good luck, maybe you can get him when he laps you............Darrin

I know as a long time fan of local dirt track racing and this being my favorite class, I have kept a close eye on the factory stocks this season. All of the young girls at Meeker idolize Holly, but the way she behaved Saturday night was inappropriate. #44 will probably pass her in points and I hope he does! As far as I can tell #23 has a comfortable lead in points in that class, but as we all know that can change quickly, looks like # 44, #64, and 71T are right there with that rookie. The FS class has been a fun one to watch out at BMS, with lots of twists and turns, 2 cars found illegal, a rookie leading in points, and all those black flags. Good Luck #44! Way to conduct yourself with class, unlike some of your fellow drivers...

Holly, it seems to me that you are TRULY SINCERE in your apology. As for the statement the "green light will be on". That comment tells me why people beat and bang on you. What a classy lady. If you have been beat on and banged up by him for so many weeks, maybe you were in the way for sooo many weeks. If you can't hang with the big boys and act like an adult, maybe you should find a new hobby!!!!

I would like to make a statement on the eiligal device found in the 91 sprint. If its not leagal in one devision then it shouldnt be leagal in any. It states no electronic devices are to be used at all. So wether its to recored his preformance or not he shouldnt be aloud to use it. And it was brought to Marks attintion, but not a thing was done about it. I was one who was so proud of Cody then to find out that he had an electric devise i just didnt know what to say. I guess i will say that i'm disappointed.

I want to clarify a few things please.

When I made the comment of "the green light would be on". I was referring to the fact that I was wrong in hitting the 44 car after the race. The only time that any cars should ever touch each other should be when the green light is on, not after the race or during a yellow. That however, does not mean that I am out to try to take somebody out during a race.

My husband works his a$$ off to put me on the track with two cars each and every Saturday. night. All of us that race knows how expensive it is to fix a car. I am not out there to tear up anything of mine let alone anybody else's it all costs way too much

I was very mad at myself for what I did. I would be very mad if somebody did it to me so how dare I do that to some to anybody else.

Chad I am sorry . I will personally say this to you Saturday night. I am not looking for a problem with you or anybody else. I just want to let you and anybody else who cares know that I was wrong. That type of behaviour is not the example that I want to show to the kids or the fans.
