Loyd 1-10; Burns 11-20
McWater and Koby Barksdale, driving the Brent Swift #41, started on the front row with Barksdale taking the quick lead as the race went green and pulled away. However the red flag fell, nelegating the start, when Strike Hill and Lee Jennings made contact in turns three and four causing Jennings to flip. He was uninjured.....It was deemed Barksdale jumped the start and was sent to the rear for the restart and as the race finally went geen, Loyd quickly jumped out front with Merriman, Johnson, and McAlister giving chase.....The caution would fall on lap two when McAlister stopped at the top of the track in turn two.....The restart would see Burns, who restarted fourth, drive around Johnson and Merriman coming out of turn two to take the runner up position and set his sights on the leader.....Behind them Danny Jennings, who started the thirteenth in the feature, followed Burns through the field and landed in the third spot by lap six....Burns would pressure Loyd several times down low in the turns but Loyd would keep his momentum and maintain the top spot....That all changed on lap eleven when Burns got a run on the leader in turns three and four and came down the front stretch to take the lead, one he would not relinquish the rest of the way thus unchallenged for his second feature win of the season.....Sellers drove from the back of the field and into contention in the fifth position and would later pass Jennings after he bobbled in turn four on lap fourteen....Lap fifteen saw Sellers go around Loyd for the runner up position but could not close for a challenge for the lead.

Hey, Dave, I thought Koby was sent to the back for not stopping soon enough on the red flag, as was McWater. McWater was clear around on the front stretch when they refired, so he went past the wreck in 4. I can see that penalty, but Koby was stopped on the back straight. They didn't say anything about him jumping the start, or did I miss that? Too bad either way, cause he had that race won.

Yes, Wescoe, he was told to go to the back for not stopping quickly enough on the red. Even though it was still green when he went through turns 1 and 2, and he stopped at turn 3 as soon as he saw the red. Nor did he come up on or pass the wreck. But that's the only way for Sluggo and his goons to insure that their track favorites win each week. Koby was running a great race and deserved the win that was most likely going to be his Friday night. But I guess fairness isn't something the SFS crew worries about too much now is it Have fun in Knoxville!!!
