kind of. partial

Exline wins the factory stocks. there were 14 of em. Clemmons shot to the front - then exited with a flat right rear. Jeremy Allen was runnin 2nd pressuring for the lead as well as receiving pressure from his brother. his left front went flat. so exline won. justin allen 2nd, Larry Allen 4th.

Charlie White won the USA Modified A Main. Stanley Reed Jr. 2nd. great race the last 2 laps between those 2 - side by side and very clean comin out of 4 on the last lap. Steve Smith was 4th. Tony Anderson broke in the heat and did not come out for B Main. Chickering 13th. Oliva 12th. Tyler Propps 8th. both Reed and Propps involved in accidents but were able to return. Reed changed a front right tire - then went back in to adjust the air pressure (so announcer said) - and still charged to 2nd. I think there was 23 mods. Mike Whitworth of Tidbits fame (the tuttle twister hehe) - raced in a limited modified - could ya tell it was him - blue and orange 50? that limited ran well against the field especially considering how tacky and fast the track was.

ASCS. 31 sprints. only 1 tumble thru the night - Eric Baldaccini dumped it in turn 4. Joe Wood Jr. was lucky not to have went over after Zach Chappell nailed him in turn 4 of the A Main. the heats sucked as usual. features only slightly better - track was very very fast - and rough. Gary Taylor won, tim crawlet 2nd. then Rilat, Shouse, Wright, Garry Lee Maier, Danny Jennings, Ramey, Jason Johnson, and JJ Hickle (washington) were the top 10.

not a bad race. not a 20$ race either..... there were isolated good races throughout the night -------- but track was tacky and rough. more passing than last time for sure tho. it was a race, it was SFS, and it was fun. but very very glad to get back to the weekly show next week - no factories - 10 bucks - 45-50 sprints - ya know - that sort of thing..............

figured id give ya'll what i had since Dave is hangin out in corn fields with the speed boats - i mean - late models lol. sorry for partial results - was only writing down stuff pertaining to fantasy league.

"Tacky and Rough" Just about the time Slugo starts producing a good race track he does this. We didnt have any rain to speak of this week and in my opinion Track conditions were all "self inflected"! Blown motors, 8 cars finishing the mod A, flat tires, ruts , tore up cars. When well they realize that wasn't a race track tonite?

you mean 8 cars finishing the mod a? hehe

yeah - like i said - we all race fans - so we in part enjoy ourselves tonight - but the atmosphere contributes to that too - its cool seeing folks you know and family and stuff. I give that track tonight a D. the May 9th show - was an F. tonight was just a speck or 2 better than that. the mods were carrying so bad in turn 1 and 3 of the a - i kept thinkin that if they hit a big rut - they would flip.

the last 8 weeks of weekly shows (and 1 sooner) - had AWESOME tracks. wasnt rough on cars - multi grooved - and then whenever ascs comes through he dumps an entire lake on the track. we get less ascs cars at SFS - because they all know what kind of track lanny will produce. and then all that do come are like - shit - yet again - swamp racing. Lanny makes ascs look bad at SFS. peeps paid 20 bucks - saw 31 sprints - 23 mods - and 12 factories. next week they will pay 10 bucks to see mid 20's champ sprints, mid 20's super sprints, low 20's mods, and upper teen pro stocks. twice as many sprints - track will almost assuredly be drier and more racy - allowing for more passing. it will be a cruel joke if they let it get so dry as to have freight trains on the bottom. i mean they may not want to give us too good a show - folks may begin to realize that a 20$ national tour show is a ripoff and not near as good as our 10$ weekly show. thats the last ascs nat. tour show here this year - and thats a very very good thing. i'll say again - it aint ascs fault. they are a great series - i think prob the best in the nation........................but lanny uses their presence as an excuse to rip people off. 20bucks for 3 classes - one of em factories - that is a ripoff. and then a horrific track every time to boot. the drivers continue to bail lanny out time after time - they put on the good show and put up with his dumb ass. look at the track all 4 nights the ASCS nat. tour ran here. horrible heavy the 1st night of Spring Nat's. bine dry 1 groove the 2nd night. the 3rd and 4th shows - may 9th and tonight - again were rough and tacky. way too much so. so small wonder your Dover's and Sather's pass on it. as well as ALL Kansas racers (ncra) as well as the vast majority of the Tulsa cars and DFW area cars.

obviously if you want to see a proper ascs national tour show - you have to go outside SFS to do it. they are given such bad tracks every time they are here that you have to wonder just how many we will get for the sooner region show in august. but i think we'll be alright on that one - double features plus champ sprints. i just cant understand why when he charges double to see half as much - he gives us half as much with the track. does this fool really think that those swamps are what people want to see? well.....maybe some do. i would hope the last 8 weeks of of weekly races and the great tracks we had would be proof of what they should do with it.you can alwasy put more water on the track - but you cant ever take any away ------- hint hint.

If I'm not mistaken, it was $15 to get in at Creek and $25 at Devils Bowl, both with 2 support classess. Creek had Bombers and ASCS 2 cars and Devils Bowl had Modifieds and Limited Mods.

Travis Rilat had a great run from deep in the field. Probably would've won the race had he not driven too hard into three and jumped the cushion. Does anyone know why or who he was mad at after the race? He got somebody told with the ol' stand-on-the-gas routine just before exiting to the horse track.

honestly i dont think it was aimed at any one car. i think it was just n general frustration - he prob knew he shoulda won.......maybe i am wrong. but the cars in the immediate vicinity hadnt done nothin overtly aggressive - at least not that i saw.
