In past polls, only a very small percent of new spectators become fans,
Your input is welcome as to why the retention rate is so low.
Thank you

I would love to have other answers posted here or emailed to me.
As you know, racing at the local level at nearly every track in the country is on a decline.
These answers are intented to help the promotors learn what they have for strong and weak points, and make the changes needed to build the sport to where it was before casinos, and other amusements.
Thank you
Duane

Hotlaps were at least 1/2 hour late. They were bored with time trials (which I like). Loved the races but it took to long to get to that point. I was not able to get them to go with me again since.
I hate to harp on 1 thing, but not starting on time has been a big negetive with everyone I have taken to Knoxville that has not been there before. I get tired of answering the same question all the time; "are they always this late getting started"

Some tracks are such a long drive that unless you are an avid fan they might not be able to justify the expense of getting there, the price to get in and then the money they spend on concessions (especially if they have children) versus the entertainment they had. It isn't a cheap interest if you have a family.
I have not gone to as many races as usual because of the price of gasoline to get there and/or the promotor has played with the rules and classes and it just isn't worth it to me anymore - on a weekly basis. I save my money for the special shows I want to see (ie: ASCS)
