for all the criticism of SFS. I'd like to acknowledge 2 things about SFS. ever since the now infamous May 9th show - the track has been awesome - dry most the time - tacky a couple - but always multiple grooves and not many ruts - or at least bad ones in bad spots. we've had 7 or 8 or more consecutive nights of awesome racing. I attribute this to 2 things - lanny's promoter skills is not among them lol.

The drivers. they continue to come out and give us a great show. even when given reasons to go somewhere else - they still race SFS and we get to see great racing because of them.

and also - the track prep. has been awesome for a couple months now. even when it was really dry it still never really fell into a freight train style track. and last night and also the Sooner region show that rain attacked and postponed - I thought the track was PERFECT. I like tacky fast but with multiple grooves and no bad ruts to tear everyone up. whoever been doin the track prep ----- for the last couple months have done an excellent job. its made for some great racing...
