New York, NY, 7/11/08 – Wells Fargo Twin Features Night featured 3 veteran winners in the four A Feature events and a first time winner who never actually made it to Victory Lane. 360 Feature #1 saw Clint Garner out duel Dustin Selvage early in a great side by side battle. Garner outlasted the remainder of the field to go on and claim the victory. 360 Feature 2 ended in controversy as the presumed winner RJ Johnson looked as though he had his first win at the track, only to have his car fail post race inspection. The disqualification put Brett Mather in the record books as a winner of the event.
Line ups for 2nd feature for both the 360 and 410 features were inverted.
410 Feature #1 saw Danny Lasoski run to victory from his 3rd starting spot. Brian Brown ran an impressive 2nd on the wide and slick Knoxville 1/2 mile. "The Dude" now has an amazing 91 wins at the Knoxville Raceway. Feature #2 found another veteran driver in Victory Lane. Brooke Tatnell scored his first win of the season for his all Australian Sprint Car. Lasoski, in the Forbrook #5 seem to be coming together for a great late summer run. Lasoski came from the tail of the field to finish 3rd in feature #2.
