another record for the Open League - 21 players. I know it is the first season and we set this record every other week but dang it its growing and growing. just too cool. thank you all for playing. i say that every week too but again - this is just too cool. on to the results.
congrats Sprints Rock for pickin up the win with what may be an Open League record. I'm pretty sure it is but I'll check. congrats Dan Fan too. more times than not the Open League players stick it to us cross leaguers. ya'll rock! again thanks to each of you for playing and making this as fun as it is and has been. with only a couple months left - lets keep this up and get even more players.
Please Put Your Week 18 (7-18) Open League Picks - here in this thread. it is the ASCS Speedweek show so if needing a some info for reference just check out the ascs website www.ascsracing.com as the 6 race Speedweek started tonight at Texarkana, and then runs Lil Rock sat. - Creek County Monday - then Devils Bowl, SFS, and Lawton thursday, friday, and saturday. so we are night #5 - by then we should have a really good idea of who will be here outside the ASCS regulars.

How funny! I was making fun of my Dad dwelling over his picks for a while just so he could get 11th and what did he do....11th. Too funny. My wife got 2nd....that's all I need around the house.

we sit str8 down from the scoring booth - well in that section - usually on the last metal bleacher (about even with the poles). you could meet wescoe, roundy rounders (my dad) , and possibly Drifters and sonicblu12 (nephew and mom). I'll let you in on a secret - the bout to be 9 years old DRIFTERS - is the smartest one of us all.....lol.
sprintsrock - i hope you break the streak. most winners in the open league finish last the following week lol. best of luck

Thanks Wescoe I'm enjoying my reign as open league champ!!! Of course you know as well as I do that in racin, anything can happen in any given week so let's just hope my luck holds out this week. We drive in from Lawton and I don't get off work til 5:00 so won't be there Friday til almost 7. Hopefully we can figure out who ya'll are to finally meet you and OKCfan12 and ya'lls families.

ha ha. yeah I had to do the same thing a while back - my mom is sonicblu12 and she won it 1 week - i got teased bout 9 times that week. my dad - OKCpop11x - has won twice i think - thats even worse - although I swept him in the official league - so evens out in the end.
if ya'll are coming from lawton - u should definitely come on July 25th (next friday) - not to discourage coming this week at all ------- but it will be a lot better. I mean 4 full classes - supers, champs, mods, and pros - for 10 bucks. IMO its the best lineup we have this year - weekly shows when the factory are off. in any event though - every race is pretty good when the track conditions are ok. look forward to seeing all ya'll friday night. SFSfan - - - will wing nuts, dan fan, and yourself be in attendance?

Wing nuts will not be selecting since we will not be in attendance this week. Lanny ain't gettin our $20 a person for three classes of cars, I don't care if it is the "stars of the outlaws". If he would've included champ sprints then he would have an extra $60 in tickets $25 in concession but I'll wait til next week.
