Tony Stewart Racing Drivers to Wear Special Helmets For Kings Royal, Chevy Powers Indiana Sprint Week EventsDonny Schatz, Kraig Kinser and Levi Jones to Wear Custom Painted Helmets
For Tony Stewart Foundation Auction

INDIANAPOLIS (July 11, 2008) – Tony Stewart Racing's (TSR) Donny Schatz, Kraig Kinser and Levi Jones will be sporting specially painted helmets both this week and next weekend to benefit the Tony Stewart Foundation (TSF). These unique helmets will be auctioned off during the next two weeks to benefit TSF, which will in turn earmark the funds for donations to charity organizations within the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series and USAC Racing groups.

Schatz, the defending Kings Royal champion, will wear a Bell Dominator painted by Brad Plantenga of Bullseye Visual, during the 25th anniversary Kings Royal event, which will be held on July 11 - 12. Schatz will pilot the TSR No. 15 Armor All/Chevy/ParkerStore J&J in this historic event at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The design has a Kings Royal theme and includes graphics within the design that highlight his triumph in last year's race. Bullseye Visual has been custom painting helmets since 1994 and for Schatz exclusively since 1999. More information on Bullseye Visual is available on their Web Site, www.bullseyevisual.com.

Jones, a two-time USAC National Sprint Car Series champion, will wear a Simpson Speedway Shark, also custom painted by Plantenga of Bullseye Visual. The driver of the TSR No. 20 Chevrolet/Bass Pro Shop Maxim will wear the helmet in the three final Chevy Powers Indiana Sprint Week events beginning on Thursday, July 17 at Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell, Ind. Jones, who won the 2004 Indiana Sprint Week championship, currently leads the USAC National Sprint Car Series.

Kinser, the 2005 Knoxville Nationals champion, will be sporting a Bell GTX with a color scheme designed by Shawn Hansen of Shark Signs & Designs. The helmet includes the colors of the TSR No. 20 Bass Pro Shops/Chevy/Maxim and has a Kings Royal theme. Shark Signs & Designs has been custom painting helmets since 1992. The helmets of Schatz and Kinser, both donated by Bell Racing, will be on display in the Tony Stewart Merchandise unit at Eldora Speedway prior to racing activities on Friday and Saturday. Photos of all three helmets will be available on both Web sites www.tonystewartfoundation.org, www.tonystewartracing.com as soon as the helmets are completed.

Bids will be accepted via e-mail at [email protected], or in person at Tony Stewart Merchandise unit, Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12 at Eldora Speedway.

The silent auction opens Friday, July 11. Final bids must be received by 11:30 p.m. EDT, on Sunday, July 20.

TSR's Jones and Tracy Hines will participate in second helmet auction program during Chevy American Revolution 4-Crown weekend on September 19 - 20. More details on those helmets will be available in early September.
