Did anyone get to see Tim Shaffer beat the All Stars last week?
If so, how was the track surface and did they get a good crowd. I hope that they can build THAT back!

Yes, Tim was very fast on a very bumpy, very wet/tacky track. I admire THAT for working all day and into the evening to get the track prepared. Hotlaps started around 9:30pm and Qualifying started around 10 with heat races going at 11. Most tracks would have cancelled and I think a lot of the drivers wanted to call the race. Tim was THE fastest car and it wasn't even close. At one point he was half a lap ahead of 2nd. He found the "high" groove and took off. I am hoping that the "Action Track" will start getting more shows and sounds like they will starting next year. The crowd was great and most stayed till it was finished at 1:30am.

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that the people in town are getting behind the grand track.
