Jackson 7.5.08

360 sprints (18 cars)

Feature (20 laps)

1- 99v Vogelaar (4)

2- 05 Boles (8)

3- 6 Rosenboom (6)

4- 24 Drost (7)

5- 99 VanWyhe (1)

6- 75c Heser (2)

7- 1B Geldner (14)

8- 5m Manteufel (11)

9- 2h Echard (10)

10- 18 Weise (15)

11- 1hd Leighty (5)

DNF 2b Bartels (9) Pulled in on lap 18

DNF 13 Martens (12) – won the first heat but drew the worst pill to start at the back of the invert.

DNF 75 Geldner front end damage after contact with 7

DNF 7 Stevens damage from contact with 75

DNF 32 Valentine pulled on lap 8 caution for debris

DNF 98 Yarns broke on lap 4

DNF 2 Stevens pulled in on caution. Was showing smoke

Great race up front. Heser had early lead and held off Vogelaar through restart but good driving by both saw Vogelaar win the battle. Boles made some strong moves on restarts and in the final 10 lap dash, closed in on Vogelaar and was close at the line.

Heat winners were 13 Martens, 24 Drost, 05 Boles

B-mods by the numbers

On lap 13, 3a was leading a close battle for the lead over 6d and 27. The three got together in turn 1&2, knocking 3a and 27 out of the event and handing the lead back to early race leader 97. Good race, glad to see a strong field and good racing with these guys back.

1- 42 Phipps (5)

2- 70 BloomSTROM (4)

3- 20 Friedrichsen (2) Great race up front. Too bad he died coming out of turn 4 to the checkered and lost 2nd place.

4- 1N Aiken (1)

5- 11a Anderson (3) Tough battle back after an early flat tire.

6- 8 Hodgins (6)

7- 21 Friedrichsen (7)

8- 13 Nicoson (8)

9- 0 Stevenson (9) seemed to have motor problems

Good race with Blomstrom and 20. Phipps worked his way to the front and pulled away. With 20's troubles at the end, the 70, 20, 1N were very close.

Great back and forth battle. 11k led first 10 laps, then 5 led lap 11, 31 had laps 12-13 and 5 took it for the final two laps.

8- 7cc

9- 74T

10- 33c

11- DNF 0

12- DNF 1k

33 had early lead and spun while up front. On restart 87 jumped and was moved back two positions. Great race up front with 3k and 5L. 5L held lead until lap 11 when 3k move inside and just got him and held on for another win.
