12- 2B Bartels (15)

13- 99 VanWyhe (10)

14- 18 Weise (14)

15- 98 Yarns (16)

16- DNF 7 Meyers (13) – pulled off to infield on lap 17.

17- DNF 2h Eckard (4) broke jacob's ladder running 6th

18- DNF 1hd Leighty (9) running 8th when spun, fuel leak retired from event.

19- DNS 24 Drost (19) – damage from heat race incident kept him out.

Only 2 cautions in the 25 lapper. One for the Leighty spin and the second for Eckard being too close to the track when stopping on push lane. Very dry slick track like old Spencer fair day shows. Anderson and Rosenboom did most of the moving. Winters and Garner pulled away together from the rest and lapped up to 10th position as the final 15 laps ran off without caution. Heser and Boles had a good race for 3rd.

Heat 1 (10 laps)

1- 2h Eckard (2)

2- 05 Boles (4)

3- 75 Geldner (1)

4- 5m Manteufel (7)

5- 3d Voss (3)

6- 99 VanWyhe (9)

7- 7 Meyers (8)

DNF 98 Yarns (6) pulled off on lap 3.

DNF 24 Drost (5) lap 1 crash

DNF 71R Anderson (10) Lap 1 crash

The start of the heat was a bit early, but it was red flagged for a strange incident on the back. Anderson and Drost got together with Anderson on the front of the Drost car and they drove into the turn 3 wall with Anderson resting on the front. Meyers clipped the Anderson car, knocking him on his side and off the Drost car. Meyers continued, Drost had too much front-end damage, and Anderson made repairs for the feature.

Heat 2 (10 laps)

1- 75c Heser (2)

2- 40 Garner (5)

3- 23w Winters (8)

4- 1hd Leighty (4)

5- 99v Vogelaar (9)

6- 13 Martens (6)

7- 18 Weise (7)

8- 2B Bartels (1)

DNF Rosenboom (3)

Bartels and Heser ran the first couple circuits nearly side by side. Leighty took over second and was running a strong second when the caution came out. On the resater Garner and Winters moved past him to get more passing points. Bartels made a nice 360 in turn two keeping the car going and leaving some nice donuts on the track.
