We will again be busing people, courtesy of the St. Henry Nightclub, from Eldora Speedway to Limaland Motorsports Park on Wednesday July 9th for the Ohio Logistics 20th Annual Brad Doty Classic. The buses will be leaving from behind the main grandstand at Eldora with the first bus leaving at 3 pm and two more buses leaving at 5 pm. Tickets are still available by going to www.limaland.com or calling (419) 998-3199.
Hope to see ya there!

Brad,
We think we should be able to attend, but may not know for sure till raceday. Do you anticipate that tickets will still be available to purchase at the track or will this be sold out beforehand? I haven't been to Limaland in a few years, but I think that they have added seating.

They have added seating, but it was pretty packed last year. We bought tickets the day of the event and had some nice seats. They were on the back stretch right by the pits. You sometimes had problems seeing what was going on on the frontstretch (interviews, awards, etc.) but you could see all the racing and that's all that counts... parking though was a uhm, well, it was sort of ugly...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.

Thanks Bahdub, when did you get there? Are the backstretch bleachers still the pit bleachers?

Oilcan,
The majority of our ticket sales are on the day of the event so I'm sure we will have you a seat available.
We still have plenty of reserved and general admission seats available in the main grandstands along with a limited number of reserved seats in the pit grandstands, which includes pit area access. The unique aspect of a pit side reserved seat is it allows someone to get up and roam around the pit area without losing their seat.. There will also be limited pitside parking available for those who elect to sit in the pit area grandstand.
Pits open at 2 pm and the grandstands open at 4 pm with a driver autograph session at 4:15 pm.

Limaland also has places for lawn chairs in the turns if reserved seats are gone when you get there. If I remember right the bottom few rows in th stands are not reserved. As far as parking goes, we bring our camper up from eldora weds. morning and just mark our spot so we don't loose it at eldora. Traffic was a zoo afterwards last year, so its kind of nice sitting back at the campsite and having a few beverages and just watching.

Would be pretty sweet if they had another way out of there. The closer you get to the road the more you have to contend with the pitside traffic also.

The racing was awesome so it makes the traffic a little more bearable, lol... sitting at the camper with a cold beverage sounds like a great idea... the pit bleachers were cool last year when Jason Sowold went Mike Tyson on Jason Martin... Sammy Swindell was sitting right in front of me and he was mentoring Sam Hafertepe (the fight was right in front of us) and his commentary on the fight was hysterical... it was something like "you really shouldn't fight your competitors..." which made me laugh...
I wish Earl still did Eldora's track prep.
