The stars of the ASCS Northern Plains Regional series along with the areas best sprint car drivers will be tackling the fast 3/8 mile Cedar Lake Speedway in Wisconsin on Saturday July 14th.

We are proud to be a part of the Billy Anderson Memorial event. This has grown into one of the areas biggest sprint car events, as it should be.

We've been working on this date for some time now, and have waited as long as we could, while waiting to see what was going to happen over at Jackson Speedway in Jackson, MN. as they run sprint races every Saturday night. Both Cedar Lake Speedway and the ASCS Nothern Plains wanted to work together with the Jackson Speedway but with no promoter in place and the uncertain future, we made the decision to go forward with this event.

Watch for more updates coming shortly...CZ

Thanks for announcing that plans for the Billy Anderson Memorial have been finalized with CLS CZ. I knew this one was in the works so it's good to hear that it's going to happen but at the same time I'm sad for how things are working out with Jackson. Jax has always been there for us if we wanted to run down there and watch the 360's but it's looking more and more like the place could be silent this season. With other tracks eager to fill in their 360 Sprint dates and them not making any headway I can't blame you, Ron and everyone else involved with Cedar Lake for doing what you had to do.

With that having been said all I can say is WOW...it looks like another night spent camping out at Cedar.

We were just talking about this tonight.

Glad to hear that it is going to happen.

Could someone post the link to the ASCS Northern Plains schedule that is in place, to date.

That will definitely be a fun night at CLS Stan. The Billy Anderson Memorial has grown into one of the premier 360 sprint car races held here in our area. This will be the 6th Annual in 2007. Here's a summary of the previous winners and car counts.

1st Annual (2002) - Tony Norem #B1st (31 cars)

2nd Annual (2003) - Bill Boles #05 (29 cars)

3rd Annual (2004) - Jerry Richert, Jr. #63 (23 cars)

4th Annual (2005) - Loren Langerud #56 (33 cars)

5th Annual (2006) - Jake Peters #57x (28 cars)

This will also be the first year that this event moves from April to July. The April shows often times encountered some weather issues as well as rougher track conditions. The July show this year should see improved temps and track conditions. It is going to be a blast camping at CLS that night and watching exciting ASCS Northern Plains Region 360 sprint car racing action along with some of the regular Saturday night CLS classes too.
